The AB 100 Superfast represents the evolution of high-performance yacht design, combining extreme speed, advanced materials and waterjet propulsion. Developed by AB Yachts and powered by a dual MJP 500 DRB system with central booster, the vessel reaches speeds of up to 60 knots, making it one of the fastest 30-meter yachts on the market.

For over 30 years, AB Yachts has specialized in high-performance vessels built around waterjet propulsion, combining speed with distinctive sporty design. The launch of the AB 100 series in 2016 marked a significant milestone, delivering a 100-foot yacht capable of reaching 52 knots.

With the AB 100 Superfast, the goal was to go further — creating a vessel where extreme performance, comfort, design flexibility and onboard space could coexist. The project required a propulsion solution capable of supporting significantly increased engine power while maintaining control, efficiency and ride quality at very high speeds.

DUAL MJP 500 DRB WATERJETS WITH CENTRAL BOOSTER

Marine Jet Power supplied a dual MJP 500 DRB waterjet system paired with a central booster, forming a high-performance propulsion package engineered for extreme speed and precision handling. Compared to earlier models, the AB 100 Superfast features upgraded triple 2,600 hp MTU engines, replacing the previous 1,900 hp configuration. Combined with lightweight Kevlar and carbon-fiber construction, this setup significantly improves acceleration, agility and overall performance.

The integration of waterjets with a central booster creates a propulsion system optimized for both top-end speed and responsive control.
