The Fast Interceptor Craft fleet for the Indian Coast Guard consists of 54 vessels designed for high-speed operation and rapid maneuvering in demanding marine environments. The 30-meter vessels reach speeds up to 45 knots and are powered by either dual Caterpillar 3516C or MTU engines, depending on vessel configuration.
Marine Jet Power supplied dual MJP 650 CSU DD waterjets for the fleet, providing high thrust, rapid acceleration, and precise maneuverability at high operating speeds.
